What is The Decider?

The Decider is a free collection of 11 decision and randomization tools. Spin a wheel between options, flip a coin to break a tie, roll dice, generate a random number, run a tournament bracket, split a group into teams, flip a yes/no fortune card, ask the Magic 8-Ball, count down with a timer, or generate a random date — every tool is instant, free, and requires no account or download. Works on any device.

The Decider is intended for everyday, low-stakes choices made in good fun. Not a substitute for professional advice — financial, medical, legal, or otherwise.

The tools

• Spin the Wheel — add your options and spin. Four modes: Eliminate (removes one per spin until a winner survives), Single Spin (one spin, one answer), Group Vote (weighted by everyone's preference), and Custom (weighted spins, blind draw, color themes, auto-spin). Comes with 26 pre-built templates across film, TV, books, games, activities, and travel. Dedicated wheel pages for specific use cases: Movie Night, What to Watch, Board Game Picker, Date Night, Travel Destination, and Dinner Ideas.
• Yes or No — flip a fortune card for a random yes or no answer. Cryptographically random 50/50. Tap to flip, tap again to ask a new question. Running tally tracks your results across flips.
• Coin Flip — animated heads or tails. Cryptographically random. Includes Best of 3 mode, a Yes/No oracle toggle, and a running flip history.
• Random Number Generator — any range, instant result, quick presets from 1–6 to 1–1000.
• Dice Roller — roll 1 or 2 dice with animation. Standard numbers or add your own custom options to each face.
• Multiple Winners — enter a list, choose how many winners to pick. Randomly select or rank any number of options.
• Magic 8-Ball — ask any yes-or-no question, shake for an answer. All 20 classic responses with animated reveal and answer history.
• Team Generator — paste a list of names and split into random teams instantly. Choose the number of teams or a target team size.
• Tournament Bracket — enter any list and generate a randomized single-elimination bracket. Click through matchups round by round to crown a champion.
• Timer & Countdown — countdown mode counts down from any duration with a progress ring and chime. Stopwatch mode tracks elapsed time with lap recording and session history.
• Random Date Generator — generate a random date within any range — past or future. Filter by weekdays, weekends, or generate multiple dates at once. Date Lookup mode finds the day of the week and relative distance for any specific date.

Why use a random tool?
